“Look upon every experience you’ve ever had, and every one who’s ever played any role in your life, as having been sent to you for your benefit. In this universe, which was created by a divine, organizing intelligence, there are simply no accidents.”

  1. I don’t take a definite position on who or what created the universe–if there even was a primal cause.

    I will say this, however:

Each moment is, in some sense, “perfect,” in that all things are sufficient unto themselves.

The great realization–or, rather, experience–that comes with the end of the ego, and the relinquishment of attachments and aversions, is that of perfection.

No matter what happens, there is, behind it all, a glory that outshines all trial and tribulation.

The universe simply is as it is. To appreciate that is to see the world as a work of art.
