Earth isn’t always a comfortable place and sometimes kindness must take on a different face. Art can’t always be beuatiful, sometimes it is the ugly truth that get the point across. With ourselves and others, truth is not always handsome but, necessary. Waking up to the reality of the illusion, while exciting, is not joyous at first. All we can do is act apon honnesty and learn love. Then share it.
I agree, I think pain is necessary, because sometimes exposing the truth is painful, it’s not what we want to hear. I have to say I feel more ready this year than any other to accept this and to keep walking even when it hurts, because to know the truth is to accept all that is human. I believe that only after this step is it possible for understanding to begin and eventually love to follow.
