Hi Colee~ Yes I understand the confusion. This particular version, as I stated above comes from Dr. Jose Arguelles who reinterpreted the Mayan cycles in a modern context and named it the Dreamspell Calendar. It is not the “traditional” Mayan system, but it based on the Mayan cycles and Mayan cosmology. If you followed STEP 2 and click on your “Galactic Dreamspell” name then you go the entire reading which in my humble opinion is quite deep and cosmic.
As far as “traditional” Mayan astrology, there seems to be a discrepancy there as well. I took have found different information coming from different sources. Even when I was travelling in the Maya lands of Guatemala and El Salvador inquired about it, it seemed to vary depending on who you asked. I have read several different sources and I love Carlos Barrios’s “The Book of Destiny.” I first discovered in Spanish and I actually enjoy that one more than the recent English translation but that’s the one I prefer. There’s no way to be sure which one is correct, so I would just say if it resonates then keep the wisdom it offers and if not then let if fly with the wind ;) Blessings~ mm

This is in response to a question here about varying readings & which one to go with.- my personal experience has been that out of around 50 readings that I have helped friends get I can honestly say that 99.9% identified strongly with their reading which was from Jose Aguilera’s translations. I am a Blue Overtone Storm & I happen to be born on a GAP day, & my reading resonated with me so strongly, I was motivated to facilitate readings for all interested,and literally only one person out of 50 didn’t identify strongly with it- hope that is helpful

Do you calculate dreamspell from midnight or sunrise? Because I was born at 00:30 and it’s become a little bit confusing with the tzolkin, (as I found that I keep having to enter the previous day), I don’t know if it’s the same with the dream spell though:? I tried to meditate on the two and see which one I resonated with better, but they kinda both do:/ is that possible with the dreamspell? Also just to make things more confusing I was born in the summer, so it was an hour ahead of the actual time zone I live in (British summer time is actually a made up time), so should I confirm the previous day? I don’t mind if you don’t have the answer to this, but I just really confused:)

Can you please elaborate on White Overtone Dog’s purpose? I read the description, but it seems weird to me that all I would be here to do is simply meet like-minded people? How can I find what career is best for me through this description? I haven’t worked in years because I’m sensitive and have lost touch with where to put myself. I’m looking for more insight into myself. I will say I resonated more with the description of Blue Monkey, my subconscious self, but I’m not sure how to dig further with the main totem of White Overtone Dog. I used to give readings on this about 20 years ago in nightclubs. After losing my personal chart with all the connections I had made to other people, I stopped it altogether. I would love to get into it again. I remember that I used to calculate people’s signs myself, not with an online calculator. Can anyone tell me how I did this? I can’t find anywhere explaining the manual calculations.
