“Above all, be at ease, be as natural and spacious as possible. Slip quietly out of the noose of your habitual anxious self, release all grasping, and relax into your true nature.”
“Think of your ordinary emotional, thought-ridden self as a block of ice or a slab of butter left out in the sun. If you are feeling hard and cold, let this aggression melt away in the sunlight of your meditation.”
“Let peace work on you and enable you to gather your scattered mind into the mindfulness of Calm Abiding, and awaken in you the awareness and insight of Clear Seeing.”
“And you will find all your negativity disarmed, your aggression dissolved, and your confusion evaporating slowly like mist into the vast and stainless sky of your absolute nature.”
~Sogyal Rinpoche fromĀ The Tibetan Book of Living and Dying

Thank you
EXACTLY what I needed to here ! Oh Mystic Mamma, I love you – always so spot on ! :) Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!
p.s. of course ” be at ease” , the way I read it, does not mean be “blissfuly fake” or “fakefully blissful”, or impossibly “neutral” and “objective” all the time … Actually do not be at ease, be in tension but allow that tension to be , dont fight it … Do not transcendent anything, do not “be above”…. au contraire = be with, relate , feel it all … just take under your consciousness the way you relate = at least, I repeat, that is how I read it … with passion = ConPassion ;)
these words are so incredible. i can feel their power/work/impact as I read them.
Thank you so very much for posting this. Beautiful.
