wolf moon howling into our skies
illuminating our tender insides
as the cancerian waters ripple
our collective seas with longing for
the feeling of comfort
of love
with mercury in retrograde
we feel an inward turning
leading us toward
our home
within
here we are safe to feel
all that we are feeling
and here we are safe
to let it all go
bathing in the cosmic mother womb
we “get back to where we once belonged”
and we learn to return
again and again
to this great love
that holds us
this love of ours
that has always been
here waiting for us
to return
this love
initiated in the silence
that is the origin
of all song
may the sentient intelligence flowing
through the rivers of our lives,
heal and and clear the way,
cascading us into
the greater sea.

This came to my inbox right when I needed it. My father will be passing on soon. It was a comfort to read this. He’s not a believer in afterlife, but I hope that won’t keep him for experiencing the love that is waiting for him. At 98, he’s outlived most of his siblings, friends, and his son. A whole crowd should be waiting to welcome him home.
