“All of this adjustment requires a lot of letting go…it’s a natural, human experience of grief and sorrow, whenever there is a loss. As beneficial as that loss is, as painful as that loss can be, to that friend or that family or that group.
“These feelings give us information about who we really are, about what is really valuable and important and what is so meaningful or not meaningful…”
“…This is the time to call a spade a spade, and call the truth, the truth. Really come into our willingness to do the work that is required to go deeper and not just make it a change on the surface.”

yes you speak about life in a way i relate too. being cancer i know how much security counts… i have to think clearly whether my insistence on ‘stability’ isn’t robbing me of a ‘better’ life. a lot of experience tells me its ok to make the changes within and not move too many pieces on the chessboard; as ive done an awful lot of that stuff of letting go, and i see in my wisdom that the journey can be gentler. xo
